Get ready for a stroll down memory lane with "." This event is like a reunion for your favourite art pals: Sarah Feinmann, Tricia Gillman, John Hoyland, and Gary Wragg are back in town, just like in Castlefield Gallery's debut programme back in 1984. They're bringing along some of their big abstract masterpieces, including Hoyland's show-stopper "Harvest 6.3.81," which is practically the Beyoncé of 1981 art. And if that's not enough, you'll also get to check out some fresh talent from the North West, like Jamie Kirk, Robin Megannity, Azraa Motala, and Katie Tomlinson. It's a bit like a family gathering, but with more paint and fewer awkward questions about your love life.

This exhibition is all about celebrating the canvas, both abstract and figurative, with pieces that range from the deeply intense to the downright flamboyant. It'll have you pondering the purpose of life while trying to decipher what that one painting with the bright colours is meant to represent. So, whether you're a die-hard painting fanatic or someone who just wandered in out of curiosity, "" promises to spark some serious conversations about art's journey through time, individuality, and the occasionally quirky world of representation.
