If you haven't experienced a Gin Society festival, you're in for a treat! Held at Manchester Cathedral on the 14th and 15th September, you'll embark on a magical experience during your journey around the world of gin.

Veg Fest features 100 vegetarian street food, plus a fabulous selection of art, craft and handmade stalls.

Celebrate traditional craft skills with by making your own ceramic tile, meet the talented makers in their open studios, experience the Centre's new Korean ceramics exhibition and enjoy the final days of the giant Bee in the City bees.

In celebration of Roald Dahl Day, Z-arts will be transformed into the Headland Hotel where the Witches are holding their 2018 RSPCC conference - do you dare to join them?

This afternoon of family delights includes a silent disco, DJs, art and messy crafts, storytelling, outdoor activities, face painting, dress ups, photo time and mini market place.

This class is a fun, judgement-free and relaxed environment to try something new or practice a talent.

There will be stalls selling a variety of goods including plants, apples, gifts, second hand books, local history books and maps.

At the beautiful Arley Hall, see three of the UKs best firework companies compete against each other with a 10 minute firework display choreographed to music followed by a finale display from the organisers.

Celebrate the annual harvest by joining in with the Farm's very own harvest festival.

Manchester is home to hundreds of extraordinary women.
