Magic Carpet is an interactive, creative, story making and activity session that forms connections to the Museums collections.

Youngsters will have plenty to keep them occupied including a huge selection of fun, educational games, Pin the Tag on the Dog and Feed the Dog, and there will be a crafts table where they are able to make a home-made dog toy.

The festival has multiple events including artistic fashion shows, parades and musical performances.

This pioneering project features six new pieces of music, each created in response to a specific space in Manchester from shopping centres and train stations to the Town Hall.

Creating a unique visitor and shopper experience, Ramsbottom Civic Hall will be filled with the latest works in jewellery, paper, textiles, fashion, ceramics, glass, silver, wood, furniture and much much more.

Kids aged 5 and under can enter also and will receive their own race pack for a small fee.

An informal, drop-in laboratory for trying out ideas and playing with materials - a place where young children can get messy, play creatively and follow their own interests.

Bring them along to our Saturday morning kids craft club and give them the chance to get messy with arts and crafts - without any of the clean-up.
