The Guilty Mothers Club was founded by the inspirational Helen, a Manchester based mum of three, with a background in HR and training. She sought to develop a hub where working mothers can define and create success and fulfilment in both work and family life, on their own terms. The cornerstones of Guilty Mothers Club are community and self development. They run a range of unique courses that mix expertise with a genuine understanding of how it feels to be a working mum.
I was fortunate enough to attend the 'Organise your life' workshop in January, where I learnt the art of bullet journaling. This has revolutionised my life and has helped to make me super efficient and productive. It combines your diary, weekly planner and to do list alongside goal planning and target setting. Helen shows you how to build in monthly reflections and gratitude lists to inspire and motivate. The course now runs online so you can carry out the workshop in your own time and includes downloads allowing you to create your own 'Ultimate Family Folder'. This is the perfect course for anyone wanting to reflect on the year that has passed and set goals in the new year.
Helen also runs a development programme called 'Game Changers'. This is for mothers who know they want to do something new or different but donít know where to start. She aims it at those who are fed up with their current job and for those who want a little more flexibility and creativity in their lives. She seeks to help mums find a job they love and in a way that works for them. If you want to meet a group of highly talented and determined mums then you will definitely meet them here.
In 2018 the Guilty Mothers Club will be launching 'The Mothership'. It is a members club designed specifically for working mothers (both employed and self-employed) who want to ditch the overwhelm, get clear on their goals and build a valuable toolkit of transferrable personal and practical skills. It aims to be a fun, inspirational, useful and caring community of like-minded women. It will be a place to skill swap, problem solve and share ideas. A whole host of Manchester mums have already signed up and are eagerly awaiting the launch.
