Giant adventures for little people

It is a family run theme park, specially designed for families with children between the ages 2 and 13 years of age. There are over 80 rides, shows and attractions to see each day and lots to explore within the park.



The best bit in the park for me was the 'Lost World' area, which transported you in to a land of dinosaurs and felt like you were actually in Jurassic Park. We got to go on a Jeep safari and my little girl even got to ride a dinosaur in a more unusual dinosaur carousel. For older children you get to soar through the air on the 'Flight of the Pteranodon' and whizz around in a giant dinosaur egg. These were all lots of fun.



There are so many rides suitable for toddlers and they are all really easy going. A lot of the rides are arranged so that the whole family can join in and this means that it is perfect for first time thrill seekers. They have tractor rides, carousels, princess rides and pirate ships. There are so many rides here you will definitely get your money's worth. We went on a busy, sunny bank holiday Monday and the longest queue we went on was 15 minutes, which made the day run very smoothly.



Not only do they have an extensive range of rides, they also have a number of fantastic play areas throughout the park. The Junior Cowboy Town is one of the largest and features a range of buildings and apparatus where they can make believe they are cowboys out in the Wild West. They also have a big top soft play tent, a face painting emporium (at an additional cost of £4), a tractor driving school, sand play and a maze of cards.





Gulliver's World hosts a wide array of events throughout the year and here is just a few of the special things they are doing: Fathers Day Weekend, where dads go free; a Family Fun Run; Pantomimes and New Year Celebrations. We have booked to go back at Christmas and have bought a great package to see Santa, enjoy a festive meal and have a full day out on the rides. We can't wait!
