Manchester based meet ups, workshops and events for savvy, super cool mamas who love their kids but won't let motherhood hold them back
Mamas Collective is a Manchester based Mums group with a difference. Molly Whitehead-Jones set up Mamas Collective in 2015 with the aim of creating a space for mums to meet whilst retaining some of their interests from before they had a baby.
Most of the meet ups are built around a Q&A with a guest speaker/s of some kind – Anna Whitehouse (Mother Pukka), Zoe de Pass (Dress Like A Mum) and Sarah Turner (The Unmumsy Mum) have all joined Molly and friends for previous meet-ups. She has also organised a 'micro retreat' for new mums in collaboration with &Breathe Postnatal and comedy gigs with Scummy Mummies.
One of the nicest things about these events is that babies and children are welcome at all of the daytime events. This makes it easier for mums to come along and enjoy listening to the guest speakers in a really relaxed and informal way.
The first event of the new year will be featuring the legendary Natalie Lee - founder of Style Me Sunday, mother of two, body positivism campaigner and fashion lover. Natalie will be discussing a whole range of topics from finding your post-baby style and her battle with alopecia to how she's built such a strong online following and her mission to help us all feel better about our bodies.
