by Sophie Cannon (follow)
In this day and age, planning a budget friendly day out with the family is no easy task, so when we found out about the awesome Spy Mission Treasure Trail, we just had to spread the word!

Manchester Spy Mission Treasure Trail

Follow clues, solve riddles and crack codes, all whilst exploring Manchester Castlefield on this self guided treasure trail.

The trail itself is roughly 1.3 miles long and is suitable for all ages, so every member of the family gets to play secret agent for the day. Starting at Manchester's Museum of Science, the trail will lead you through the Roman gardens to the canal area, looping round the canal side footpaths and returning to the starting point.

One trail booklet will be sufficient for a family of 4-5 people and at just 6.99, you'll be hard pressed to find a cheaper family activity.
