Mini First Aid deliver multi-award winning classes in a relaxed and comfortable style. They offer a range of classes across Manchester for all the family; parents, grandparents, carers and for children as young as three years old, training them in basic and life-saving first aid. They will give you confidence to know what actions to take if faced with a medical emergency.

There are two dedicated sessions for children and these provide a great way for little ones to learn the basics. Mini First Aid Early Years classes are for children aged 3-6 and work with the Early Years Curriculum. Children learn about what happens to their bodies if they are hurt and how they would be treated by a grown up. There are 2 classes available for this age range and after each class children will receive a certificate for attending.

Mini First Aid Kids is designed for children aged 7-11. At this age children are starting to be more independent and can understand basic first aid and so this is the ideal session to equip them with essential skills. In the one hour session, children will learn to deal with bumps, burns, breaks and bleeding. They will also carry out CPR and deal with choking. The class is practical, lots of fun and involves lots of activities for the children to enjoy.

For adults Mini First Aid run a series of open and private events for you to join. The sessions are two hours long and start from 20 per person. These classes include information and awareness on CPR, choking, bumps, burns, breaks, bleeding, febrile seizures and meningitis awareness. We completed the class when my little girl was a few months old as I was worried about weaning and choking hazards at this time. I found the course really useful and it really did help make me more aware of basic first aid.
