Picture this: you're shrunk down to the size of an ant, wading through a gooey wax ear canal, dodging sticky snot while diving into the magnificent mess of our senses. It's a wacky tour that'll have you juggling with the five senses we all know—touch, sight, hearing, smell, and taste—and tossing in some secret ones that clue you in on when you need a loo break.

But it doesn't stop there. You'll have the chance to poke about inside a monumental eyeball—yes, it's just as squishy as it sounds—and give a massive ear drum a bang worthy of a rock concert. The smell library? It's like a game show where you sniff out mystery scents and compete against your mates to see who has the best nose. And if that isn't zany enough, you can kick off a chain reaction with some dominoes to uncover how our nerves chat with each other. With all this fun led by the charming trio of Dr Chris, Dr Xand, and Dr Ronx, Operation Ouch! takes you on a sideshow of sensory science. So, come along and prepare for some serious giggles as you explore odd bits from the Science Museum Group's collection, including ancient ear trumpets and a 'Jedi' helmet that would make any wannabe Luke Skywalker envious.
