Planet Ice is based in Altrincham and here you can enjoy the ice all year round with a varied range of activities. From ice hockey to UV paint parties to toddler sessions, there is lots of fun to be had.



They have a fantastic track record for teaching people to skate and they have now adopted the Skate Excellence program. This places a significant emphasis on fun whilst learning. There are a variety of different classes to partake in depending on whether you want to learn an ice sport from scratch or you just want to hone your skills.



The 'Ice Penguin Learn to Skate' is their newest Skate Excellence course, which is designed for “preschoolers”. Ice Penguins teaches participants how to skate through play, the use of colours, shapes, and visual aids. The lessons are audio driven, with our different penguin characters and the penguin club leader guiding participants through the basic instructions. The use of familiar nursery songs helps to create a fun-loving environment that will make for an enjoyable experience for all!



The events schedule here is jam packed and there are lots of treats in store during the school holidays. Recently they have held a UV paint party and a foam party on the ice. At Christmas time they also have a pantomime and this year (2018) it will be 'Cinderella'. It will be touring across Planet Ice rinks nationwide and will be an ice show to remember, with fun for all the family! Don't forget to also watch out for fantastic deals online, including; the family passes and all day ice skating passes.



Planet Ice is also a perfect venue for children's birthday parties and it promises to be a day to remember. There are two packages available, the standard package is £14 per person and the premium package is £18 per person. Both of these parties offer the ultimate ice skating experience for all ages and abilities. Skate packages are included and after the fun on the ice guests will be treated to a party meal in the party rooms.
