Rainy Day Options: Adventure Forest Play Centre

With Manchester's highly unpredictable weather, it's always a huge advantage to have list of rainy day options to hand - just incase! So we've decided to showcase some of Manchester's best indoor family activities that are not only ideal for any occasion, but perfect for those times where outdoor fun is just not an option!

Adventure Forest Indoor Play, Trafford Park

First up is Trafford Park's Adventure Forest Play Centre! Opened just under a year ago in August 2016, co-owners Jenny and Kelly wanted to 'create a play centre that was fun and exciting for children, with a touch of luxury for adults', and that is exactly what they have achieved.

Play
The entire playground is decorated with the quaint "Adventure Forest" theme in mind, so there are lots of woodland creatures to meet, "river" ball pits to dive into and tree trunk tunnels to explore.

Fun characters to meet

There are two main sections, the first of which is a 3 tier play frame built for children aged 3-11 years, and jam packed with the latest soft play equipment, including a large wavy slide, dizzy disks, invisible floor walkways, large ball pit, a mini sports court and the unique 'Eye Spy Hole".

Eye Spy Hole where children can watch the fish and other sea creatures.

For the younger members of the family, Adventure Forest is home to a large toddler only area which boasts its own ball pool, slides, gel deck, cubby house and lots more fun games and activities for those aged up to 3 years.

As well as soft play, kids can also enjoy the mini quad bike track and at £1 a go, it won't break the bank!

For The Adults
Now I don't know about you but I always head to the local indoor play centre when I fancy a bit of a break but I also want the kids to have a great time, and it has to be said that Adventure Forest have done an amazing job at giving mum a bit of R'n'R.

Adventure Forest Cafe

Serving a range of delicious meals, hot and cold drinks and a variety of cakes, the Adventure Forest cafe is beautifully presented and has plenty of seating within full view of the play areas, so parents can get their peace and quiet all whilst keeping an eye on their little ones.

A Little Extra..
Another great thing that the play centre offers is 'Little Bears Mornings', a fun interactive play session where pre schoolers can get together, play, socialise, enjoy a variety of crafts, and even meet Bruno bear! The mornings run from 9:30am-11:00am weekdays (term time only). Head here for more info.
