With Manchester's highly unpredictable weather, it's always a huge advantage to have list of rainy day options to hand- just incase! So we've decided to showcase some of Manchester's best indoor family activities that are not only ideal for any occasion, but perfect for those times where outdoor fun is just not an option!
Sky High Adventure
This week we're focusing on Sky High Adventure, an indoor adventure arena with four daring activities all under the one roof. Sky High welcomes all ages through it's doors and promises to 'stimulate, challenge and ignite your sense of adventure.' So what's there?
For the little adventurer... First up, for the younger members of the family is Sky High's 'iPlay Zone', a fully enclosed soft play area with four floors of obstacles, tunnels, climbing activities, slides, and loads more. There's even a mini sports pitch, perfect for little athletes. The "Zone" is open to children under the age of 12, and as it's jam packed with fun equipment designed to keep kids moving, comfy clothes and socks are a must!
For the adventure addicts... Next up on offer is Caving and Bouldering, Manchester's premier indoor caving experience! Kids will begin by twisting, turning and crawling their way through Sky High's 54 metre caving system, equipped with just a helmet and a head torch! (Don't worry mums, there are fully trained staff on hand to help!)

Once you've braved the caves and navigated your way out, it's time to head over to the 4D, colourful bouldering wall and try out your rock climbing skills. The wall is suitable for all abilities, and is a great way for kids to utilise their strength and agility without the use of a harness.

For the courageous climbers... For those (ages 4 and over) looking to challenge themselves even further, Sky High's Clip n Climb Adventure Course is the perfect way to showcase your strength, ability, and bravery!

Take the 'Leap of Faith', climb the 'Stairway to Heaven', and dare to drop on the 'Vertical Slide'; there are so many activities to choose from. And the best bit? They're all over 7 metres high! Yikes!
For the lover of heights... Last but not least is the High Ropes course, a series of obstacles, tunnels and climbing ropes suspended high in the air of the arena. Once you've grabbed your harness and a helmet, push yourself to the limit on this thrilling 35 metre course, can you make it to the end?

For mum and dad... If bravery runs in the family, then mum and dad can feel free to get involved in the activities on offer. However if you'd rather enjoy the adventure from afar, then there is an onsite cafe where parents can enjoy a cake and a coffee whilst the kids run riot.
Phew! What a lot of adventure for one day! As well as giving your kids an exciting day out, you can guarantee with all that energy they've burnt, early bedtimes will definitely be on the horizon!
