Manchester's year round adventure playground

[Link https://www.skyhighadventure.com/ ] is based at Active Medlock and provides a distinct range of safe, fun and accessible adventure facilities under one roof. They have four great activities available and children can have fun and test their limits on an exciting range of courses designed to stimulate, challenge and ignite their sense of adventure.



The iPlay Zone is open all year round from 9:00am and features four floors of fantastic fun for your little one. Youngsters can explore their surroundings in a fun, vibrant and safe space. With an array of obstacles in this zone it really is the perfect place to intrigue and excite. There is no need to book this part of , you can turn up to play on the day.



Next up is the Clip'n Climb adventure zone, which is a fun and challenge course that will test any child's head for heights. There are a diverse range of activities standing at an incredible 7.7m high. This includes the Lightning Crack, the Big Cheese and the breath-taking Leap of Faith. This is suitable for participants aged four plus.





If your child has a sense of adventure then the High Ropes zone is for them. Set in the lofty heights of the centre, they will get the chance to take their indoor adventure experience to the next level. All participants will be equipped with a helmet and harness and they will be challenged to manoeuvre obstacles, platforms, tunnels and climbing ropes. This course is 35 metres long and each obstacle is suspended from the ceiling!



The last zone is the Caving and Bouldering area for those craving a new adventure. The caving experience is exciting, demanding and stimulating!
It is a great adventure that will require you to slide, crawl, turn, and twist your way through a 54 metre indoor caving system. Participants will navigate the darkness of the tunnels, with just a helmet and head torch, so they can enjoy the ultimate indoor caving experience. Once that has been completed children can then test their strength and agility on the multi-dimensional bouldering wall. They have supervisors on hand to guide everyone though the experience!



There are lots of offers and sessions running throughout the year. Family sessions include Welly Walks and Rhyme Time. The Rhyme Time sessions are on a Tuesday and Thursday during term time and are free. The sessions are suitable for children of all ages and entry to the iPlay Zone is just a £1 after the session! They also have breakfast and lunch clubs on during the week and a kids climbing club.
