The Klondyke Club

by Lydia (follow)
The secret gem of Levenshulme

The Klondyke Club is also known as The Levenshulme Bowling and Social Club. It has been around for more than 100 years and is in the heart of the Levenshulme community. The club provides a relaxed environment for families and is hosting the Summer of Lev Music and Arts Festival this July, which is not to be missed!

The club consists of 4 pool tables, 2 snooker tables and offers you the perfect place to relax with a game of pool, snooker or darts. They also have a members lounge area, function room and extensive grounds. The big draw for families is the outdoor bouncy castle and the large outside space. They are a very welcoming venue and incredibly child friendly.

One of the main events held here is the Summer of Lev Music and Arts Festival and it is back for the fifth year on July 7th and 8th, 2018. The event is split over four areas: the main outside stage, a circus arena, dance hall and the secret garden.

We combined a trip to the Klondyke with lunch at Levenshulme artisan market. There were so many different food stalls and we were spoilt for choice. The Japenese chicken was delicious and my daughter loved the pizza stall. There was a band playing whilst we enjoyed our food and it was such a chilled out atmosphere here.
